This is one of the best parks I've had the pleasure of seeing in the city. Next to High Park off of Bloor I would say that Humber Bay Shores Park is the nicest in the city.
It's huge and despite it's size is incredibly well laid out with a nice mix between man-made and natural areas. The pathways twist and turn and can lead you on nature trails, across docks over water, right onto the water front and in between there are countless amounts of wading pools, grassy areas and picnic areas.
In the western side of Humber Bay Park, there are event spots where you can rent boats or take boating lessons. On this end the escarpments are narrow so driving can be a bit tricky (as is parking) but if the day is nice the walk is worth it as the end of the escarpment has some of the best views of city skyline in my opinion. Not to mention bar-b-que and fire pits!
And for those locals who live in the area the western entrance is also home to the HBSP weekly farmers market, definitely worth a look!
Love this park and I'm excited to bring my dog here in the summer for some outside playtime!
