  • Not all stops of a franchise are made the same! I like this Second Cup because of their baked goods. Okay I know how many people hate on those stale biscuits that have been marinating behind the counter for what seems like eternities but I swear this Second Cup's biscuits aren't like that! Nor are their muffins or their scones or their croissants! You all know what the drinks taste like if you've been to any Second Cup. This was going to be a four-star review, until I recently visited and saw how nicely they'd renovated. They have a little fireplace now, and cushy armchairs around it! Their tables and other chairs look professional, sleek and comfortable at the same time! Gone are the days of haphazard wire chairs strewn around. Bonus: they give me a cinnamon stick in my apple cider. Some other places don't do this.
