Ordered two full cords of wood and his delivery guy showed up with one cord. The truck he drove wouldn't even hold two cords if it was neatly stacked in and not just loaded with a bobcat.
I refused the load and he said he would make good on it after I stacked it and if it wasn't two full cords he would give me the cord I was missing and a second full cord to make up for it. I mistakenly took the offer.
Well it was one cord after I stacked it and yes he did deliver another short cord but not another two. I believe he intentionally shorted me in the hopes I wouldn't know what two full cords of wood should measure. The "mixed" wood also contained soft stuff like box elder and some pine.
Be careful, smooth talker. I think he could really have a great business but it won't be with me. If you buy wood know what a cord should measure. If his delivery guy shows up with a truck that's little bigger than a pickup realize it's just one cord on the vehicle.
I have security footage of the delivery vehicle and actual delivery if anyone wants to see it contact me.
