  • Good news is it's another new dealer of my favorite make- chevy, which is all I've ever driven. Bad news is all these nitwits working here came over from the downtown Brown & Brown. Went to that one last year to shop for my new car. Told the salesman what I was wanting, the features, and ballparked what I wanted to pay. First words out of his mouth were "well then you're not going to be driving a Sonic." Great salesmanship, huh? They didn't have a manual version or a turbo version in stock, and couldn't get their system working to even run my credit. Found out another dealer had the features I wanted on a Sonic so I went there. When the the original salesman found out about this, he called and left a series of harassing messages and even SOMEHOW got my mothers number and called and complained to her. Why? Who knows. She wasn't consigning, and I'm 26 years old. I don't want to name any names, because I don't want to make Doug feel bad, but someone is a sore loser and maybe definitely childish. His dealership didn't have the stock, didn't have the system working to check credit, and had a salesman tell me right off the bat that I couldn't get that car based off my claim of what I wanted to pay. So I went and got it elsewhere. For exactly what I wanted to pay. And like I said, they brought the old staff here. Their service department doesn't seem to want business either. Used to take my trucks to their service department regularly. But today, I stood around for 30 minutes trying to get someone to take the keys and service my work truck. Then it took two and a half hours for a lube oil filter and tire rotation. At least 20 bays and on a dead Monday morning... Still took forever. One star for prompt service from their automatic Starbucks coffee machine. These wing nuts haven't turned me off to chevy though--I'm a lifelong chevy buyer, without a doubt. But from here on, I'll never buy any of them from this dealer, or have them serviced here. Shame, since my parents have worked for them way back when and have had their trucks serviced there for decades.
