  • I've been meaning to check this place out for a long time, so glad my husband and I finally made it there! First off, the staff is great and the cashier was very helpful. I had the wood fired chicken #2 (arepa) and it was very good. My husband had the beef with plantains #12, and he was in heaven. From living in the Caribbean I'm obsessed with fried plantains and these didn't disappoint. I will go pick up $3 plantains any day! We also had fried yuca, but I didn't love it. Yuca has never been a favorite though. Each arepa is around $5... Totally worth the price. 4 stars because of the location and we has to park across at the pharmacy, but We will definitely be back when we head downtown.
