  • Beautiful resort! This is a lovely property that was designed well. We enjoyed our 1-bedroom suite with balcony and view of the lake. The rooms are very clean, bed was comfy, and staff was friendly. The restaurant on property offers a nice breakfast daily and brunch on Sunday's. What hindered my 5-star review is that the property needs to be renovated. We found several locations where light sconces appeared to be falling off, patches in the walls that need to be painted, doors that were scoffed up and scratched, sections on the grounds needing to be swept and cleaned. They charge a $25 per night resort fee. I believe that the property should be in top condition when resort fees are in place. Also, 90% of the shops along the lake were vacant, including the casino. Although we don't gamble, I was disappointed that the entire shopping area was like a ghost town. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant visit.
