  • Another great meal at Pub & Grill. Me and my friends had plans for a big dinner later in the day and didn't want to over stuff ourselves so decided to split two appetizers and one main between the three of us. The items chosen were the crispy calamari, crispy pork belly and the Steak & Ale pie. The calamari was crispy and is given a sweet & sour flavor when combining with the pickled peppers. The pork belly was juicy, fatty and had a crispy outer layer of skin that gives a loud crunch when biting very similar to the skin on thick cuts of deep fried chicharron. However the meat was a lot softer and more flavorful. The highlight of the three was the Steak & Ale pie. The steak chunks, the puree, the mushrooms, and the crust...simply delicious. As good as the other two plates were, we should have just ordered two pies due to how fast we ate it. One of my friends is a very very picky eater and he ate the bulk of it. A Yelp check-in gets you a complimentary order of sticky toffee pudding. It comes pipping hot so careful when digging in. A tasty hot sponge cake and melted ice cream combo.
