  • My boyfriend and I didn't feel like cooking dinner last night, so he thought we should try out Alexi's. It ended up being a great idea! He ordered the steak and shrimp with a side of cole slaw & curly fries. I ordered the Gyro platter with a side salad and curly fries. We both ordered Dr. Pepper's to drink. We felt immediately welcomed as soon as we walked into the diner. We were seated immediately, and within moments our server took our drink order. She answered my questions about the daily specials, and gave us a few more moments to make our selection. She recommended the cole slaw and my boyfriend though it was great. The salad came out with fresh lettuce, cucumber slices, and a couple grape tomatoes. They also included dressing on the side and 2 packages of crackers. The server gave us refills on our beverages when ours were halfway full. That equals awesome service! We appreciated the friendly smiles and homey feel while enjoying our delicious dinners. We plan on returning to try out their breakfast specials.
