This place is so good that I ate here for the first time recently and came back a 2nd time 4 days later. When you come get the LuLu Wings for an appetizer. They are breaded, fried and drenched in a honey Tabasco type sauce that is literally finger licking good. I'll order garlic bread just to mop up the leftover sauce with.
The first time we came here was on a Saturday night and I ordered their daily special which was the Smothered Pork Chop dinner. It comes with a side of warm bourbon fruit cocktail and my 2 sides I chose was the dirty rice and the potato salad. I swear the pick chop was a double cut thick chop smothered in a brown gravy. The pork was so tender you did not need a knife to cut it. The dirty rice had a nice kick to it and the potato salad was a nice compliment to the meal.
4 days later we came back for Happy Hour. I had the wings again and had a shrimp n oyster poboy with house made potato chips. A very meaty sandwich and the chips were tasty. I can't wait to try their jambalaya next.
