  • Well until this past summer, I didn't even know that Krispy Kreme Doughnuts still existed in Canada. Then I happened upon this location while down on Baldwin Street. Now when I'm in the area, I try to drop in for a coffee and donut. The place is not very big, only seating for about a dozen people. I do not recall having waited very long in line, and the staff are usually friendly. (I will say that the clerk yesterday had a difficult time figuring out my change, but this sadly seems to be fairly common these days). I had a Caramel Kreme Crunch donut and medium hot chocolate for $4. The donuts are always fresh and the coffee and hot chocolate are fine. I think part of the attraction is that it's still a novelty for me, so the price is reasonable, and I'm sure to be back from time to time.
