  • This shop is located in Parkdale bordering Roncesvalles. It is truly a hidden gem amongst the old antique stores and dollar stores lined up along the very end of Queen Street West. It's a good thing I discovered this shop AFTER I moved out of Parkdale or else I would have been going there every day! The only "flaw" about this shop is that they didn't really have that many cupcake flavours when I went there. I did have the pleasure of tasting their red velvet cupcake and their cupcake of the month flavour, white velvet. The white velvet cupcake consisted of a spongy vanilla batter cake topped with strawberry vanilla icing. It is so light and so incredibly delicious - I could have eaten a whole box of those but thank goodness I only bought the 2 cupcakes. The red velvet is hands down the BEST red velvet cupcake in Toronto. Ever. Not even FTLOC can beat this red velvet cupcake. The cream cheese icing on top is perfect. Not too sweet and just sweet enough so that you can taste that it is cream cheese icing not icing sugar overload like some places. The red velvet CAKE itself is also not too sweet and extremely moist. I am craving one as I type this. I hear they have a S'MORES cupcake of the month in August which I must try as the picture looks delicious on their blog. Definitely worth the walk/street car ride over. Try their red velvet. Best in town. Hands down. Trust.
