| - Today, for the first time in 11 days, we were able to take a much appreciated, very nice hot shower.
I'm not sure where the communication failed but it was a Yelp review that expedited the entire process of getting our gas water heater finally fixed. After leaving a Yelp review on OneGuard's Yelp page, we were finally given attention to the 11 day ordeal.
Jackie, from OneGuard's customer relations, responded to my review within minutes and she called to follow up and also called throughout the day to make sure that the plumbing company was giving our situation a priority.
With that being said though, we were given a 12 to 5 window of when the technician was going to come out and he did not arrive till a few minutes after 5 PM. We were starting to lose hope once again, but once the tech started working on it, took about 20min, and our pilot light was back on.
This 11 day process was only a 20 minute fix...had we been given the attention we were given by Jackie the first time we reached out for help, we would have been with hot water if not on the first time, but the second time the plumbing company showed up for service.
My original review was a cry for help and the one star rating I gave was more a reflection of the plumbing company that was sent out to us by OneGuard. It was a frustrating week and a half of trying to get an easy problem solved and once we got a hold of the right people, the situation was handled the way it should have been in the first place. We are very grateful for the service Jackie provided us and we hope that if there is a next time, and we needed service, we now know who to call. Thank you.
