| - Forgive this post. It's late, and I'm a bit rusty.
Last week, a coworker and I went to the Common Market for sandwiches. Hailing, most recently, from Chicago and, before that, Savannah, GA, I've experienced some awesome healthy-minded grocery stores. CM was right on par with some of my favorite markets elsewhere.
The food was great. I ordered the club sandwich, which was not only made awesome, but was also reasonably priced.
The shop itself, as previously stated, reminded me a lot of some of my other favorite markets of the same genre. And, being that I'm not quite the fan of Charlotte yet, it was nice to experience a place, in the city, that brought me back.
As for the staff, they were quick, friendly, and efficient. My only complaint was that I had to ask for a bag at the counter, to carry my lunch out.
Overall, I'd say CM is a place I'm glad I found in Charlotte. Personally, it brings back some good memories of places I've loved, and they have great sandwiches.
Fin.
