I was seen a year ago by Dr. Reynolds and waited over an hour and a half for my appointment. Being in the healthcare profession, I let it go knowing that every once in a while unexpected things can cause a wait.
A year later, I scheduled another annual exam. I waited a month and a half for this appointment. I arrived early as requested, to update any needed paperwork. Again, I waited over an hour and a half to be seen. When I discussed the unacceptable wait times with Dr. Reynolds her response was "I'm sorry but this office may not be a good fit for you." My appoint was 1 hour after they opened- she had scheduled 6 patients before mine. She then told me that sometimes 10 patients are scheduled, she likes to spend time with her patients and she's not really sure what she could have done differently. Shocked at her unprofessional response, I told her maybe she should schedule less patients in an hour to be able to address patient needs in a timely manner.
The wait times are unacceptable, but ultimately it was Dr. Reynolds' unprofessionalism that resulted in me seeking care elsewhere.
