rev:text	After moving to Phoenix 18 months ago I was glad to find such an awesome vet (Matt Davis) for my bulldog. Unfortunately, I just found Dr. Davis is no longer with the practice and "is pursuing other options". He was the only reason I took my dog there because of how he treated him and explained things to me. He always called the next day or so to find out how well my dog was doing. I'm saddened by this news and will be searching to see if he has moved to a nearby practice. I've never seen Dr. Roice so I can't comment on her, however the staff is good. About 1/2 seem happy to be taking care of your pet and for the other 1/2 it seems to be "just a job". Ultimately, you'll have to decide if this is the right place for you on your own. UPDATE I took my dog to see Dr. Roice and she seemed to be very knowledgeable. However, the front office staff just is not the same...seems like the "happy" people are no longer there. So much for their attempt at making the practice "more professional". Downgrade to 3 stars...mainly due to Dr. Davis not being there and the attitude of the remaining office staff. *2nd UPDATE* After a year and a half I have found out that Dr. Davis just recently joined a vet practice in Scottsdale and am taking my dogs to see him (he was previously at a practice in Ahwatukee). The practice is very personable and the staff is great. Please contact me if you're interested in taking your pet to see him and I will pass along his contact info.
