I purchased a new rooftop ac unit from Wolff Mechanical a year ago. I found them when I needed someone to do a hail inspection on my ac unit. They were very helpful in assisting me to make a hail claim through my insurance company. Long story short, my insurance didn't pay for the hail damage, so I had to purchase the new system myself. After getting quotes form other companies Wolff was the best value. Now a year and a couple weeks after they installed the unit, it all of the sudden stopped working out of the blue last night at about 8:00pm. I went to Wolff's website and called the number thinking I would leave a message for someone to call me back the next day. To my surprise someone answered. I explained the problem and she said she would have someone call me back. About 10 minutes later a tech called me and said that he could be there in about an hour to fix it. This would be at 9:00pm! I was amazed. After the tech arrived it was determined that it was the thermostat that was bad. He asked to see my initial install paperwork. When I showed it to him he noticed that the system was actually 2 weeks past warranty. He quickly said "no problem, I'll make the warranty retroactive and cover it". These guys are top notch! where a lot of companies would just show up when it was convenient for them and stick you with the cost of repairs the day after the warranty expires, Wolff values their customers enough to make getting their system back working again a priority and stands behind their work! I would highly recommend them!
