  • I wish I could have given them a negative five stars!!! If you have or are ever planning on getting Dish Network you should know that they are nothing but money grubbing scumbags and liar's who will try and take every last nickel they can even after you are deceased. Today I had to call them to handle a discrepancy with my deceased father's account. My father passed away on February 2nd and it took over a month before they were finally able to disconnect his service. I spoke with two different people after my father passed away and I was informed that they will back date the cancellation date to the day he died which they only backdated it until March 2nd. So when I call them today, the first person I spoke with said that my dad was only entitled to a $0.60 refund, but that turned out to be a lie i found out after speaking to a supervisor. But this occurred only after telling me that my father died on Feb 2nd and I didn't even call them until Feb 6th as if waiting for days after he died to call them is what the problem was here...AYFKM!?!?!? I was Furious! How dare you try to make me feel like I did the wrong thing by not calling you at the moment my dad died!!!! When I ask for a supervisor I was informed that there was not one available. Needless to say I ended that phone conversation right there and then. The second time I called (about 10 mins latter) I spoke with someone with whom I introduced myself to as Marlena Goller, the deceased account holders Daughter and I just had a disastrous conversation with another employee and I just wanted to speak with a supervisor. This woman kept referring to me as sir, so after the second time she called me Sir, I stopped her dead in her tracks and said "My name is "MARLENA" and I am the "DAUGHTER" of the account holder. And that I am a Ma'ma and NOT a SIR!!!" Needless to say she continue to call me Sir. And every time I ask for a supervisor I was told there was no supervisor available. It got to the point where every time she started to speak, I had to say in a very LOUD VOICE "Just Shut-Up, put me on hold and go get me a supervisor RIGHT NOW!!! So after putting me on hold for less than 60 seconds I was connected with one of their missing supervisors. The first thing I ask her is, If someone introduces themselves as Marlena and referred to themselves as a daighter, would you EVER refer to them as Sir? Because its all your employee just did to me despite how many times I corrected her. Then I went on to tell her about everything I went thru with both people I spoke with today and her let her that Dish needed to give them Both some Serious sensitive retraining as well as customer service retraining! So after all my rage at the 2 complete imbeciles that lied and insulted me, I made the supervisor look at my fathers account in full detail, and Lo and Behold, he is actually due a $66 refund on top of the $0.60 I was told he was only entitled to. But needless to say, this money grubbing company is still going to charge us a $15 fee for the shipping labels and boxes in order for me to return their equipment despite everything their employees put me thru. And let me add this. If you were an elderly person whose contract is getting towards the end, and you need them to come out and replace equipment or whatever reason you may need them to come out for...BEWARE!!!. They will try and take advantage of with a lot of fast talk in order to get you to sign into a new contract when you think you're signing a receipt in order to trap you with their crap services. This is something they did with my father when he only had about eight months left on his contract. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!
