  • First time at NY NY Vegas, umpteenth time in Vegas. First, good choice for our family, one teenager and pre-teen. They liked the shops and proximity to m & m store, coke store, etc. Good selection of restaurants...we went to America, Nine Fine Irishmen, and Starbucks. See my other reviews. As expected, be prepared to pay through the nose, and slots and gaming not very loose (you are on the strip, don't forget). The roller coaster was a blast, thank god it was 2 for 1 with our room key. The arcade seemed fine, but because our kids had their electronic devices, they didn't really need it. I thought the layout was good....easy to get to everything. We got a great room deal, BUT and this is really my only complaint...the room "run of the house" was so so. Small bathrooms, but really big foyer. No microwave, desk, or coffee maker or fridge. Just lacking in some basic amenities that almost decent hotel room would have now. Next time, would probably aim for a suite. Otherwise, fun hotel. Would stay again.
