I have lived here since May 2017. The previous management company got us off to a bad start but I will say that Banner has made some necessary improvements. However, there's still a lot of things to work on.
The trash area is always a complete mess. Sometimes bags are piled up to the road.
The entrance gate is broken quite often.
Appliances, cabinets, & counter tops are cheap. The fake cover that mimics paint on the cabinets is falling off. The stove takes double the amount of time to cook something. Lighting is absolutely awful in the bedrooms. The lamp on my nightstand is brighter than the ceiling light.
During the recent winter weather, there was no salt dropped on any of our parking lots or sidewalks.
We experienced some major customer service issues involving a leak in our roof. The roofing company didn't cover the unfinished roof with a tarp so at midnight, rain started to soak through the plywood & into our bedroom through the vents & lights. We called "emergency maintenance" & no one answered. The office & maintenance staff seemed very nonchalant about the fact that water had been pouring through our light fixtures & soaking into the carpet for hours. If I had not called the office every couple of hours to check on the fixing the problem, it would have been ignored. All in all I still don't think it got fixed properly, but they have assured me that it's fine.
I have lived at multiple apartments over the years & just don't feel confident in the office or maintenance staff to handle things properly. The location is fine & the price is reasonable, but I would rather pay more & have better service.
