  • Most storage facilities, in my experience, are pretty similar in terms of what they offer. What makes one stand out above others is customer service, and my experience with the branch on Atchley Dr. in Sun City Anthem has been exceptional. No one has ever been grumpy or dismissive, always friendly and eager to answer any questions at all. I was helping my father move out of his unit last June, and it was a very typical scorching hot day in the Las Vegas Valley, over 110 degrees and no cloud cover or humidity. One of the managers brought out bottles of cold water for everyone he saw working and struggling not to melt. That's the sort of consideration and "above and beyond" customer care that really makes a difference, no matter what the business. The only thing that's always left me a tad puzzled is most of this particular facility is on a downward grade, and the wheeled carts they provide, while very much appreciated, don't have any sort of brake, so you may want to bring your own doorstop in order to keep your cart from rolling downhill. Otherwise, I recommend this branch of Desert Storage unreservedly and will definitely return whenever I need a place outside the home to keep my "stuff."
