I had a nail in my tire. Second one in less than a month-am I being sabotaged?! I digress...
So I call this morning on my way in to work and surprisingly they're able to set me up with a 2:30pm appt. I stroll in at 2:30 and it's busy. Like grand central station busy. So crowded that I actually had to park across the way in the Lowe's parking lot cause there wasn't a spot at Discount. I'm on time and am helped almost immediately by a super cool and down to earth guy who's sympathetic to my plight-nail in tire, clueless as to how I got it, whiny female who knows nothing about cars, etc. etc.
He came out to the car with me and did the obligatory tread test in my tires. I knew from my previous nail-in-tire experience a few weeks ago that I'm just about due for some new ones. I told him that unfortunately I'm not in a position financially right now for that but come tax return time, I'll be back for 'em. Even though the LAST thing I want to spend my return on is tires. Again, I digress.
I was thinking with how crowded it was that it would be a pretty lengthy wait time but he assured me that it wouldn't be more than an hour. Lo and behold, almost exactly an hour later (maybe 5 minutes more if I'm being completely honest but who cares about 5 minutes?) he comes to let me know that the flat was repaired, my car was up front and ready to go and wished me a good night and better luck on the road.
I know 99.99% of reviewers have already commented on this but I can't express enough how incredibly, fantastically, stupendously and amazingly awesome Discount Tire is to just fix a tire for free. Nothing owed, no money due, nada, zip, zilch.
I love this company and while I can't speak for all the locations in town, this Discount Tire on Marks and Warm Springs is the real deal.
