  • This company is as bad as the company that moved me from Manhattan to Raleigh -- All American Van Lines in Farmingdale, NY. The moving company charged me $4,000 on a quote of $2,000. I believe they intentionally lowballed me to get the business. They were deceptive in so many areas and the person with whom I had to deal with in their office was so slick and unctuous. Of course, Anthem denied my claim because I signed that I received everything in good condition. Did they really expect me to keep the movers waiting while I inspected 110 boxes and 7 wardrobes? How ridiculous! The movers certainly knew that a few of my items (an antique Chinese vase and Waterford crystal) were broken when they brought them into my home because when I picked up those particular boxes to unpack them, you could hear the broken porcelain and crystal. How just it would be if both of these companies, which I also believe work in tandem, were put out of business.
