  • If you're like me (I feel sorry for you), then you're not a fan of the loud, obnoxious lounges that are a dime-a-dozen in or around the strip. Mandarin Oriental is quite a different animal. Most people will tell you the best feature here is the view. While the view is amazing, in no way do I think it is the best feature. The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Relatively quiet, dark, and intimate. This is the kind of lounge you can actually hold a conversation with the person next to you without yelling in their ear. The next best thing, although not for me because I'm a lightweight, is the strong drinks. So pace yourself. Or do what I did and just girl out by getting one of those Berry Bellini drinks. They're easier to stomach than the hard alcohol drinks.
