  • Our first trek out to Steam Whistle ended in epic failure when we showed up at 12:30pm to buy tickets for 6 tickets and they only had 1 for the end of the day as the rest of the day was sold out! I emailed SWB and they were super fast and easy to get us booked in. I'd recommend this if you ever want to visit and especially if you have a large group. We showed up 15 minutes early as requested and paid $10 and got a souvenir and a tour. They have a few types of tours with different items like a tour with a 6 pack or a 12 pack! Before the tour started we were given free samples of Steam Whistle. Awesome! You can purchase bottles here for $4 each if your sample goes empty. Our tour guide wrangled up our group of 16 and took us upstairs to the staging area. They hooked us up with headsets and headphones. We were given a second beer here and it was a full bottle! Our tour guide was amazing! Her name was Lizz (with 2 z's!) and she's super cool and also easy on the eyes guys. Ask for her! She took us around and gave us a great tour with the history and story of SWB. It's pretty awesome and we came prepared with questions and she was more than prepared with answers! She put up with a lot of immature jokes from our group but was a super trooper and put some of the guys in place with her quick wit. Very cool girl! At the end of the 50 minute tour we were taken back to the staging area and were given another sample. Yup that's the 3rd beer on the tour that was given to us. At the end they walked us to the front counter and we hung out some more and hung out a bit. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone wanted to have an hour of fun. The building is absolutely beautiful and in the summer there is a little train running on the tracks that the kids can ride. Yup this means we're probably going to see if we can get on it as well, hahaha.
