Stopped at Minute Clinic for shingles vaccination. Check in kiosk was not working. When nurse practitioner finished with previous patient, I indicated kiosk was not working and asked, "should I just take a seat?" She did not greet me nor say one word. She walked over and messed with kiosk to verify it wasn't working and rebooted it. Still no communication, not even "what may we help you with today?" Checked in via kiosk. Only 10 min process.. So after waiting 10 minutes and 10 minute check in, NP said," come in." Didn't ask what I needed, so I just told her. Finally, some communication. "We don't give shingles vaccine. The physician will send you to the pharmacy or you can go on your own to our pharmacy to request.". Went to pharmacy. Cost was prohibitive even after insurance. Wasted 30 minutes when a simple question from the NP could have saved the three of us that time. Isolated bad day or just doesn't like her job? Extremely poor customer interface and service. Consider other options for clinic services.
