| - Fast, friendly, competent, and competitive pricing. I never thought I would ever choose Discount Tire over Costco, but they have more tire options, with budget friendly tires/prices available, shorter wait times, and good employees. My last four tire/wheel purchases were from Discount Tire after exclusively using Costco or Sams Club for years. They will try to up-sell you tire replacement certificates but they will gladly take no for an answer. I just bought some wheels in April and they had them in stock, in and out in less than 45 minutes.
One friendly word of warning though: they will not service any tire older than 10 years, and that includes air checks. Not a big deal or worthy of a star rating downgrade, just something you should be aware of in case you go in with your 2001 vehicle's spare on. They will exchange it for your repaired or replaced tire but don't expect a tire/rim swap. It's probably liability protection for them, as well as a delivery for sales, but in no way comes across as evil or conniving.
Make an appointment for fastest service, even if it's only a few hours later in the day. It's a popular place, and they do move fast, just faster when they've already got a slot reserved for you. Even if you have to wait, there's a Home Depot, Staples, Del Taco, Panda Express, and more across the parking lot to keep you occupied
