| - OUCH!!! This was my first time at Bronze, and I only went because I had a Groupon for an Mani-Pedi package for $30, which was about half the regular price. What I ended up with was paying $30 for a $15 beauty school service, and that's not including the tip I left (completley defeating the purpose of Groupon). The girl I saw was very nice but it was clear she had almost no experience (which is probably why she is the person that does the Groupon service). Anyway, she cut my nails to the quick and then filed them like a see saw on the sides. I asked her several times to stop, that I wanted my nails squared, and to please not file back and forth ( this is bad for weak nails like mine) she looked at me and kept going, she then took out a huge course grain file, the kind used to rough up nail beds in preperation for acrylics, and started to file my nail beds! At this point I pulled my hands away and told her no, she asked why, and then became very annoyed with me. After ripping the cuticles off of two of my nails I asked her to just skip that and please to just polish so I could leave. Her polish job was OK, but after she just turned off the light got up and walked away, which was weird. The pedicure was OK, just a suggestion-you should probably still have oil or lotion on someones legs before you try to massage them with hot rocks, otherwise your just grinding stones into someones skin and its actually painful. On the bright side, I didn't have to wait and the decore is nice..
