  • After not doing business with walker for over 3 months they thought they would be slick and fight my complaint with visa to have them refund me my money since all they were able to provide me was a headache. Walker furniture is the reason for people not to have faith that business still are able to conduct good business with good business practices. I went to walker 3 months ago and in short I didn't receive what I was supposed to so I had them pick up all their items and told them I would get a refund through my bank because they had mentioned cutting me a check and charging me restocking fees at which time I blew up and stated that if anyone needed to pay fees it had to be their sales person who clearly didn't do their job correctly by not knowing how things are coded in their backend which was clearly his fault not mine if he was trained correctly he'd know I have to check for this when I'm selling this and he didn't so it was his fault the items where returned and sold incorrectly. After walker fought the charges with visa I had to file a BBB complaint the person who dealt with my complaint is named Trivanda Smith and she has got to be the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with from a management stand point. Instead of dealing with me because I was the person on the complaint I was the person on the purchase order it was my Visa card that was used she decided to circumvent me and go to my wife like some middle school kid playing games my wife repeatedly asked her to not call her and to contact me which she didn't until I re-wrote to the BBB stating that these practices are unprofessional and can lead to legal litigation. Mrs Smith tried to give me every reason under the sun for why it was alright and that she was trying to avoid me altogether to which I responded we could've dealt strictly through the BBB. I URGE ANYONE LOOKING FOR FURNITURE TO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WALKER LOOK ELSE WHERE IF ANYTHING USE THEM AS A PRICE POINT THAT YOU WILL NOT PAY BECAUSE THEY ARE OVER PRICED AND THEIR SALES PEOPLE ARE CLEARLY NOT TRAINED CORRECTLY AND IF YOU HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE MANAGEMENT ITS CLEAR THAT THEY WILL BE RUDE AND MAKE YOU JUMP THROUGH HOOPS BEFORE THEY DO WHATS RIGHT!!
