The baked goods here were on par with those served at much fancier restaurants (not cafes). I understand the store doesn't look like a bakery but you'd do well to stop in and pick something up to go. After eating these you can't go back to a coffee shop with regular baked goods. They were the best desserts I had at any restaurant, cafe, etc. in Toronto.
The fancy iced coffee seems reaching a bit to justify its price. It's better than a normal iced coffee but seems to require 2x the labor. I enjoy watching people work too; sometimes I just want an iced coffee to sip.
The brunch was only 4.5 stars (a bit overpriced and spare) but who said I'm averaging these things?
