For the longest time, i've been looking for a place that puts hot cheeto powder on top of their food; so I was happy when this place opened! I didn't want to go on their first week of opening, because obviously the line would be crazy. But when I went there this past weekend, the line was still insanely long. The wait was around an hour. I ordered the chilotes combo which came with cheeto elotes, cheeto cheese fries, and a choice of drink - I got the mangonada. Growing up in Phoenix, I've had my fair share of Mexican street food/drinks. The elotes weren't the best i've had and it seems like they used sweet corn for it which is not the type you're supposed to use. The cheeto fries were great! That's something I will definitely go back for. As for the mangonada, it was so-so. It was mostly ice and they could have added more chamoy and chilli powder. The reason why I'm giving them 3 stars is because of the elotes, mangonada and the fact that they forgot my drink when calling me up. So I had to wait around 20 more minutes after an hour wait as it is. I think since they are new they are still getting the hang of things; but I will be back for those fires and to try other foods/drinks.
Came back to try the ube shake. It tastes as good as it looks!
