  • DISGUSTING! I have a mini dachshund (11 pound dog) and got her spayed and baby teeth pulled at gateway. The doctor made a 3 inch incision to spay my dog.... that is animal cruelty especially since my dogs whole body is only 11 inches long. My last dachshund was spayed at a different vet and barely had 1 inch of an incision. Now i am not a cosmetic person but I feel so bad for my dog bc now she has the worst sagging boobs and the flap around and people ask me what is wrong with my dog......my other friend also has a 10 pound dog and gateway did the same thing to her.... also when they pulled the baby teeth they left half a tooth root in by accident (AKA just sloppy vet work) and she was on antibiotics for a week because of it.....PLEASE DO NOT SPAY YOUR SMALL DOG HERE!
