My mother, sister and I all came here to get bikini and leg waxes. The place feels like a cross between a cheap nail salon and a hospital. The decor (if you can call it that), is sterile and unwelcoming. There are Maxim style photographs of tanned, waxed bodies decorating the walls. I'm a lady, I don't want to stare at pictures of other ladies' crotches while being waxed in my nether regions.
I agree with reviewer Elle N. that there seems to be a problem with the wax they use-- which is a warm gel rather than an actual wax. All of us had a bad reaction to the wax (lots of post-wax bumps, pimples-- which have now turned to scars). We are experienced waxers and have not had bad reactions at other salons. In my case, the aesthetician missed several areas on the first pass and had to go back and re-wax.
We also all saw re-growth in one week, as opposed to the usual three weeks. It was apparent that they hair merely broke off, rather than being fully removed from the pore.
We won't be coming back.
