  • "Cartwright's Sonoran Ranch House is more than a restaurant; it is a means for honoring the legacy of the settlers of the American Southwest. Not only do we take great pride in our food, drinks and service, we also aim to preserve Arizona's heritage by sharing the stories of our property's past. We fuse Southwestern ingredients, top-notch beef and game meats, and the best quality seafood we can find, and present them in a warm, welcoming atmosphere rich in Arizona lore." Those words are certainly true when it comes to this rustic yet modernized Steakhouse. This place is unique with its beautifully designed interior along with its friendly and upbeat staff. Our waitress named Mary was very respectful, and she gave us a pleasant experience for our very first visit to this place. The Tortilla Soup (which I recommend) was full of flavor with its smooth texture, and elegant fragrance. Absolutely delicious! Shortly afterwards, our Steaks came. I admire the presentation, but of course the taste is where the glory stands. The Bone-In Rib Eye was tender as well as juicy and it was not overcooked surprisingly. And of course the other dishes we had were also excellent. Cartwright's does well in meeting guest expectations, from the atmosphere to the service and to the food.
