  • Been taking vacations to Vegas since 1980, and I think we have stayed in almost every hotel both on and off of the strip, (except for any casinos built within the last eight years) Since 2000 my wife and I ALWAYS stay at the Orleans Casino....WHY...because we did the research. If you think Roulette has better odds than craps, or that the Mega Bucks slot has better odds than a video poker slot well then, you probably didn't do any research on that either. The only thing the Orleans does not have is a high end over-priced nightclub, (who cares).10 years ago we re-newed our wedding vows and stayed at the Orleans along with 10 of our cosest friends, everyone had a wonderful time. We just got back from a week spent there for our 25th anniversary as always a wonderful time was had. I sincerely hope that anyone who has a negative remark about the Orleans will give them another chance. You really don't have to leave the casino if you don't want to everything is there, spa, barbershop, kids area, state of the art theaters, shows, bowling, slots, table games, a pool, newly remodeled rooms, the ceilings are low and comforting, the space between the games is wide and easy to maneuver. The staff from valet, to front counter, bell stall, house cleaning, employees at all the restaurants, (and there are many) everyone we came in contact with was up-beat, cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful. This year we decided to take cabs where we wanted to go, and with out question, when asked where we were staying and answered the Orleans, everyone said how it is the best in town, (and that is from the locals). You can have a bad experience at any casino I don't care what you say. If you burn yourself on the stove, do you stop cooking? Look up what makes a good casino, you'll see why we always choose the Orleans. It' easy to get to, it's off the strip, (only a couple of minutes away), the rooms are clean and newly decorated, the people are friendly, the slots are loose, the food is delicious. What more could a knowledgeable person with common sense ask for? We'll be staying there as long as it is there.
