unfortunately something has changed with stanley steamer :( i've been using them for eons and always professional, great cleaning & staff. normally, i'm not at the house when cleaning is done. however, yesterday was NOT good.
call came in telling me someone is coming over, i specifically mentioned door was unlocked as i was on my way home. gave them instructions on areas to pay attention too. staff that showed up had NO idea what those instructions where and called me looking for the key. luckily, i got home & explained everything. when i called to have someone come back to close the back patio screen door (it was propped open so hard, i couldn't budge it), the 800# had no idea who i was! finally they found my record & said i had 2 records!!! i called them again because there are yellow spots on my hallway carpet that were not there.
i then asked the rep what has changed in their procedures as something is definitely lacking. they said more & more of their locations are going towards the 800# national # to service their calls. well, better do better at communicating because i'm not going w/them after my contract runs out. obviously to save $$$ & i understand that but they need to get a handle on making sure their information is up to date & not put me on hold for 15 minutes while they look it up confused.
