Certainly there are better family-run Thai and Chinese restaurants, but my friend's (vegetarian) wife loves it here so we go on every trip. Service was reasonably good until our waitress went off shift. After that, though the restaurant was half-empty, nobody ever showed up to inquire if we wanted to order dessert, pay our bill, etc. This went on for about 20 minutes before we finally flagged down a waiter and asked to pay.
Reasonably quiet and suitable for conversation.
My favorite dish was the chicken coconut soup.
