So they basically gave the Imperial Palace a facelift. I got lost finding the registration desk after getting dropped of from the cab which sucked BUT....it ended up being a good thing because that extra delay aligned me with this awesome registration lady who upgraded my room for FREE! Score! It was either that or my awesome Axe body spray.
I ended up in a King suite which added a living room, view of the strip, 55" tv, microwave, and a fridge, I looked it up and the room is normally $200 a night. My original room was $59 per night but with taxes and fees ends up being around $100 per. Not bad for checking in at 10:30pm.
Room was clean and modern with pops of color. King sized bed was nice. Best thing about the Linq is the price and location. Middle of the strip right across the street from Caesars with the Cosmo and Venetian a short walk away. You're also right on the promenade with all sorts of shops, bars, and that ferris wheel.
Worst and best thing about my room was that it overlooked the strip, Great view but then I had this club right below my room. So it would be basically 3am and I can still hear all the bass and song lyrics to Trey Songs - Say Ahh playing down below. Don't even ask me how many times I heard Hotline Bling - Drake over my 3 day stay.
*Fitness Center was good.
*Pool was chill.
