  • As an American crossing the friendly northern border, I found Customs to be less than friendly. Occasionally I've had to go to those gates at the far edge of the airport. Gates 88 to 95 or something like that. That was a trip within itself. What compensated for all of that, though, was the fact that car rental was walkable from the terminals (albeit a lengthy walk for which my Fitbit appreciated). Not having to take a shuttle from the terminal to get a car rental was a pleasant treat.
