  • It was fresh and easy. I had read on a Yelp thread they had gelato the day before, so as I am driving by with my mom I saw it, and made a most likely illegal turn in. My mom was wondering what was going on, and I told her I heard they sold good gelato here. As if you need another reason to suddenly detour from your original destination. My mom likes Fresh & Easy, so she was happy to go. I got a few things, but the best items were my strawberries, Strawberry Lemonade, and the gelato. Really, they were the freshest most delicious strawberries I've had in a long time. The Strawberry Lemonade was like crack, I drank it like there was no tomorrow, so good. The gelato was decent, but not as good as going to an actually gelato shop. I also prefer to pick individual apples, peaches, etc. That is just a personal preference of mine though. Too bad the closest Fresh & Easy is 8 miles away from my house otherwise I'd probably go there more often. They do lose one star for their douchey hybrid parking space at the front of the store. Since when do people driving hybrid cars need the same proximity to the store as the handicapped? I get that they are rewarding people for trying to be green, but that is just lame. How about and extra $5 coupon off for riding your bike, walking, or rollerblading there instead?
