  • Emily Tedone and Andrew Hudson saved me from financial ruin by getting the Social Security review board to reconsider my appeal, of which they said they would wait to come to a conclusion till my radiology and other medical assessments were conducted and submitted. The review board didn't wait, though. They just denied my appeal, meaning the next step would have been waiting a year to appeal to an administrative law judge -- with a 56% chance of that appeal being denied anyway. I was in a tough spot physically, emotionally, and financially. With my denied appeal being reconsidered, Emily knew what documents were needed from my doctor(s) to make clear the merits of my case. The review board found in my favor with the reconsidered appeal, which is something that never would have happened if I were pursuing Social Security Disability benefits on my own (and, I'd guess, even with another law firm). Hiring US Disability Group was one of the best decisions I made in 2015. With the back pay I received last week, my rising anxiety about foreclosure and inability to pay bills has been replaced by financial independence and money management, which are most welcome after disability forever changed my life.
