GF and i stopped in during happy hour and sat at one of the bar high tables for a quick bite. Great selection of authentic, family style Italian cuisine. Ambiance is great, especially being located in the busy shopping area of Caesar's.
Reasons for my mediocre 3-star review:
slow service...there were two other tables besides ours, and we waited 10min til we were asked if we wanted something to drink...another 12min til we could order our food...then over 20 til we started eating. (during busy hour, that wouldn't be bad...but there was only 5 tables seated in the whole restaurant at the time)
and the other thing that bugged me...ordered a hot sandwich (which was great...and huge!!) but i asked if my GF could have a little side plate of spaghetti w/ marinara instead of the side salad, but was immediately and definitely shut down. not a 'oh, let me see what i can do' or a 'that will be a $$ upcharge' etc etc. just a flat outright NO. c'mon, we're only two people and don't want to order a family size boatload of spaghetti just to try it. pretty sure that could have been arranged.
anyways, i'd caution any small parties from going in...will be hard to find appropriate sized dishes to order. but for larger groups who are open to sharing dishes family style, this would be fantastic
