This was pretty shitty all around. Apparently the car washers are each assigned a car and stick with the same car through the process. My car was stuck with a lazy ass obese individual who didn't put an OUNCE of effort into washing or drying my car.
When he called my car over I grabbed a rag and spent around 10 minutes going over alllllllllllllll the spots he missed. He was, hopefully, embarrassed at the shotty job and kept cleaning with me but I was following him around the car and STILL finding shit he missed the SECOND time around. I tipped him $2 anyway because he apparently needed it more than I did, maybe he will put it towards a gym membership so he has more energy to do his job correct the FIRST TIME.
But wait, there's more! I bought the $20 car wash (for what reason, I will never know) and I didn't smell my "new car" freshener until the next day. It was disgusting. New car? No. More like flowers that have been sitting out for a week, if I'm being nice. I was super pissed that my brand new car smells like shit now AND the scent came from an oily paper they place under your seat. OILY PAPER PLACED ON THE CARPET OF MY BRAND NEW CAR.
I called to complain and the elderly black lady scoffed at my claims and told me there's no way I'm getting my car wash comped but I can call when the manager comes in anyway. Apparently someone hasn't been trained in customer service....
Bottom line: Find another business that actually puts effort into the service they provide.
