From the yellow sunshine coating the barista bar to the Moroccan/Swedish pillows spread over benches, I am such a fan of this little nook of a coffee shop. As soon as I stepped inside, I actually blurted out to the affable barista that I felt as though I walked into someone's super cool home in the middle of their coffee. Said barista did not know if this was a compliment and I assured him, it really is. What better atmosphere to give off in a coffee shop than a friendly home to every customer?
There's a great spread of treats up for grabs (not too many that are vegan-friendly, though) and the americano itself was delicious. If you're just in the mood to sit and chat with a friend for a half hour or read a book, the small quarters actually make the space even more intimate and cozy.
But keep in mind, this place is s-m-a-l-l. Spelled it out for ya because I know we (or maybe I) read these reviews fast as hell. If you're going to do work that needs table space, there's really only two small counter type tables and then the gathering of seats and benches near the windows.
P.S. They serve their drinks in tea cups. That might be the only annoying thing about "coffee culture". Why can't coffee-lovers feel like royalty from England whilst enjoying their beverage? Why, cruel world?! Well, now we can. No questions asked.
