  • First visited here when it first opened. There used to be long lineups and not a lot of selection. Now? No line ups, lots of selection, and you can ever preorder! This shows how quickly Uncle Tetsu becomes unpopular. I've tried the cheesecake and Madeleines from the downtown location and the madeleines here are completely different! The cheesecake is the same taste, light, fluffy, moist, and cheesy, but the Madeleines are very hard and dry here! Not the same taste! Also, they have all these different types of ice cream (not soft serve like dt) all made up of food colouring and artificial flavouring. They also started making no back cheesecakes and mochi. I did question at one point if this Uncle Tetsu is an authorized location as everything is completely different compared to the one downtown, the one in Japan, and other international locations (yes I've tried Uncle Tetsu at various locations around the world). Overall, 2.5/5. If you've never tried Uncle Tetsu, I would recommend trying the cheesecake here as there's never a line now, everything else I would try at the downtown location.
