  • Avoid this dentist at all costs! I was sent here by another dentist for amalgam removal. The dentist's office first violated my privacy by calling a previous dentist (not the one who had referred me) for "more information" about me. I never authorized this. After waiting for two weeks for an appointment while a temporary filling was disintegrating, I arrived for the appt. I saw the doctor and he said that he would take care of things. He left the room and then his assistant came back and said that they needed more information. I said that I had specifically made the appointment for the removal and restoration of two fillings, and that they needed to be done that day because one was loose and disintegrating. The dentist returned after ten minutes and said that he would not treat me. In the space of ten minutes we went from "we'll take care of that" to "we won't take care of that." This is neither responsible, nor professional behavior for a medical professional. His office staff was also terrible, changing my appointment times (twice!) without informing me. Stay away from Douglas.
