Decided to take in a Dodgers game visiting the KC Royals at Surprise Stadium. Parking is free - organized to get you in a spot and on your way into the park. Employees are friendly and knowledgable, game was packed and good fun.
Now the meh: Concession lines for EVERYTHING except shave ice was long, long and even longer. It was like being at Dodger Stadium. 20 deep, 25 deep. No fun.
But truly the strangest thing are the seats. From outside of first base to almost the wall in the outfields, the seats face straight - NOT towards second base like every other park. I don't understand why that is, but until you sit in the seat, and try to get comfortable watching the action from a strange angle.......The facility is nice and well kept, but I guess in order to get additional seats in the stands, there is NO degree of tilt towards 2nd base.
