  • I signed up for the Joint`s "month to month" deal. They failed to mention it is 2 month minimum because they require 30 days notice for cancellation. I read this a few hours later when I got home. Requiring 30 days notice is just another way of saying "we`re gonna get you for 1 more payment", which I find unethical. I have set up recurring billing before and 10 days notice is more than enough. When I spoke to Courtney and said I was not happy with the service after my second appt and did not want the second month of dues forced on me, she said "sorry that`s the contract". So it is, and let`s let everybody know upfront. The joint touts "no appt" necessary! That`s great except for when its busy and your rushed out in 3 minutes. I was actually told upon one visit that they just finished a rush of people and did 14 people in 1 hour!! As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I cancelled in the first month, was billed again the second month (as per contract), then AGAIN for a 3rd month! After calling Courtney she told me they changed the program they were using (unlikely for a corp. franchise less than 6 months old) and when they reconciled the files realized I did not pay for the previous month (this is impossible as recurring billing is done automatically by the merchant services account, she straight out lied to me). I did in fact pay for the previous month. Upon calling to inform her I had paid I was given an in store refund. This was a very poor attempt to get me for an extra billing. Steve did make my back feel a bit better because I had a slight injury, but only the first treatment did anything for me, the next 7 did nothing! If you have a real back/neck injury find a place that has the capability of at least doing x-rays so they can really see what`s going on, instead of a 3-5 minute exam, guess, and treatment.
