  • DANGEROUS SPLASHPAD .I'm only posting this review about the splashpad only. They recently remodeled the spashpad over the winter and reopened it back up this summer. Tbh, it is a DANGEROUS SPLASHPAD. The floor is concrete, painted and sealed with a waterproof type of paint. It makes the surface extremely slippery with water. All splashpads I have been to have soft rubberized type of floor surface. I took my 2 year old here and noticed right away the slippery floor. I witnessed about 8 slip and falls within 5 mins. With kids running in water theres bound to be slips and falls but the kids at this splashpad were hitting their heads on the concrete floor as well. Kids running full speed, playing in the water and their feet just slip completely under them and they go falling backwards on to their back and head. So dangerous. I held my son's hand the whole time. I would have taken a better picture of the splashpad but I dont think parents would approve of me taking a picture with their child in it. I just took a picture without any kid faces in it. PARENTS IF YOU TAKE YOUR CHILID HERE. PLEASE BE AWARE THE FLOOR IS EXTREMLY SLIPPERY.
