  • DO NOT - DO NOT - DO NOT rent from them (aka Transcanada). Read all the other one-star reviews here. As someone else wrote, "You are forced to buy their insurance at $12 per day, non-negotiable... very rude to push you to sign." And slick. They LIE and tell you that the extra insurance is required by Ontario law. This is NOT true. Also, just an FYI: if you use the 407 toll highway while in the Toronto area, E-Z/Transcanada not only charges you a $50 "administrative fee" for each use, but also an almost 20% "airport concession fee" on the $50, not to mention the taxes due on it. You'll end up with an $83 bill for a $5 toll.
