This Smith and Wollensky location has gone so far downhill service-wise, I doubt I'll willingly dine at another one again.
This review isn't based on the food since the service took so long and the staff so uninterested in helping us, we finally got up and walked out. It wasn't crowded and plenty of staff were around, but nobody said a word.
We were just two walk-ins coming in for a 9pm diner, casually dressed after walking the strip but not obnoxious or drunk in any way. We simply wanted steak. We sat at the bar where the bartender (while very nice) was more interested in talking about their new tattoo. We had to ask for the wine menu and were never even served water. We inquired about a $300+ bottle of wine (Quintessa) and when we found out they didn't have the vintage we wanted, asked for something similar to it and never got an answer. We politely asked for the sommelier and were told the GM would help us. We waited for at least five minutes in a nearly empty restaurant then left.
I'm sure the food is still decent, but with hundreds of other options to choose from that undoubtedly offer better service, feel free to skip this S&W.
